From a budding hope in the late 2000s, he quickly took off to EDM Olympus and established himself there for a long time. For 7 years in a row, Dutchman Nicky Romero has been in the top 50 of the world's best DJs in the DJ Mag rating with the highest position at number 7, followed by Van Buren, Avicii, Tiesto and David Guetta.

For three quarters of 2019, Nicky Romero played at the mega-festivals Ultra, Tomorrowland, Mysteryland, Creamfields and Untold, performed at festivals and large events in Europe, Asia, the USA and Canada, including presented his sets in superclubs in Las Vegas (Omnia and Hakkasan) and in Ibiza.

His tracks become hits, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Afrojack, David Guetta, Taio Cruz and others willingly work in collaborations with him.
Nicky founded the Protocol, which is now a label, high-tech studio, showcases and radio show with 5 million listeners weekly!
